Christmas this year was great. I am healthy and not sick and on antibiotics this year which is a first in many years. I had a blast shopping for family and of course waited til the last minute to shop and wrap.

I got a lot of new and fun things. I got a cross necklace, scrapbook paper from costco, a pointer finger ring to replace the one I lost... I have never lost any jewelry in my life, yankee candles, new Harry Potter book, acrylic extension table for my quilting machine, quilting rulers, quilting pins, thread and machine needles. Santa also got us 3 nintendo ds games, Touch master 2, Pinball, and Mystery Case Files.

Our Christmas funny this year was... my husband and I both got Nintendo Wii's for us from Santa. I had been talking about the Nintendo Wii Fit and my dh=dear hubby thought it sounded good so he sought out to get it for us. He and I both got our Wii's in town but he had to go online to get the Wii fit because they were out of stock all over town, he got it the day before Christmas.

Christmas Eve when it was time for us to open our presents, we made ourselves drinks and set out for the Christmas tree surrounded by many presents from Santa and each other. We separated presents into his, hers and Santa gifts. Then my dh handed me a present that he wanted me to open, I handed it to him and said you open it, he said no you open it, and that is when I said this is my handwriting on the tag. He said wait a second, looked around the presents and reached for another one, here he said open this one first... Well just then I realized that both of the presents were the same size and shape. I sat down on the floor, cracking up laughing so hard that I nearly soaked my pants. He opened the one I bought and I opened the one he bought and we both laughed. He said he did not know what I would think about us having a Wii and I told him I felt the same way. I took the Wii back that I had bought and we kept the one he bought since we get a free game rental a month where he bought it. The games we have for our Wii so far are Animal Crossing, Wii Fit, Sports, and Game Party 2.

We have had a blast with our Wii. When I got up yesterday my dh had been playing for some time and was about exhausted from everything he had done. We played the different games yesterday and had a blast. I kicked his butt in bowling, knocked him out in boxing, etc.

We had a small Wii party last night and had company, no one could beat the Wii expert who must remain unnamed, and it is not me.
