I made this quilt a few months ago and it is out of order in the process of my quilting but that is ok. I do not want to go back and change the order of things here on my blog. This is a charity quilt and the top is all flannel. The back looks like denim with pockets all over it. It is sandwiched and machine quilted. I did a straight stitch straight across this up and down, left and right with all different colors of thread. There are raw edges in the quilt blocks and it will fray when it is washed and I hope it will look really cool. Raw edges will give it a warm and weathered look and I really like that in a quilt. I am not sure what kind of batting is used in this one. I believe the batting is something that I picked up at a yard sale.
